St. Patricks Day

Today is St. Patricks day and none of us wore green - we slept in and had a very rushed monday morning and forgot about the green. All the celebrations in this area started on Friday, there were parades and crawfish boils, etc. Macy went to a parade with her friend Rachel. The irish throw potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage from the floats; they also throw beads and stuffed animals, etc. Where else would you get hit in the head with vegetables while watching a parade? Macy got hit in the head with a cabbage and came home with a gigantic carrot and onion, beads and a cute little stuffed easter bunny.

Spring break for College Kids

Julie and her friend Carley Beazer arrived from Texas on Friday night, Jocelyn arrived from Baton Rouge. We pulled out sleeping bags and washed them (they've been in storage for almost 2 years). Saturday morning Julie and I gathered all the camping gear and she packed for their trip to Panama City Florida. They are camping near the beach and hope to enjoy the sun and the fun there. I love it when they are here - its fun and there is so much energy, Bella was so excited and enjoyed the walks and games of fetch. I felt sad when they pulled out of the driveway and Bella moped around Saturday afternoon looking for them. Happy Camping!
