September... Still Too Hot in Louisiana... I miss those cool, crisp, canadian evenings. Especially today when the a/c is not working.

The days have gone by so fast. Tyson & Macy have been in school for a whole month already. Jocy & Julie are away at school. Bella, our puppy, is growing so fast, (she is 2 months + 10 days old) I can tell everyday she's grown a little bit more. She's definitely a baby ... instead of soothers for a baby we have rawhide bones for her to chew on. She's been good for our family. Tyson told me today that she is a member of our family. Macy said that she is no longer the youngest... now Bella is.

Hopefully we can keep teaching her to be well behaved. I walk her in the morning before work, Macy walks her after school, Sometimes Todd walks her in the evening - if he doesn't then I do. Tyson makes her life fun and interesting and plays with her the most. Macy treats her like a baby a tries to carry her around like one - that will change as Bella gets bigger. Macy has been good to introduce Bella to her friends and their dogs. It's a good time for a new dog in our family. The kids are old enough to be responsible and teach her good things. It's a little difficult trying having 4 people be consistent in enforcing the rules and teaching and rewarding her for the good things she does. We are in a rental house and so I'm not stressed about a puppy in a new house. We have old furniture and she has a room of her own - thanks Matt and Tory. The good thing... everything has to be put away or she will chew it or tear it up... so shoes are in the closet, clothes and papers are put away. Food has to be eaten at the table or she thinks it is for her... so far.. I'm loving it. Nothing like a puppy to whip a family into shape. Tyson & Macy did a great job yesterday cleaning the house while I did the yard (and got some sun). Thanks for being such great kids. I'm looking forward to some cool fall evenings... so far .. I think September In Louisiana is hot weather maybe even hotter than August. Bring on October.... :)
