VACATION TO CANADA

We arrived in Calgary early Friday morning (1:30 am) after a bit of an adventure of missed connection and delayed flight.

Houston Airport

We were met by Julie & Andre in a red Sunfire (complements of Dave & Marilyn & Lyndsay - a BIG THANKYOU) and Ashley in a red Neon (a big Thank you to Roger & Tamara & Tyler) and then we drove to Fairmont Hot Springs and arrive at 5am. Julie & Andre departed from Dulles Airport & Todd, Me, Jocelyn, Tyson & Macy departed from New Orleans. Julie & Andre arrived in Calgary at 11 am. We were supposed to arrive at 4 pm which turned into 1:30 am.

It is so wonderful to be with family, to be surrounded by the beauty of mountains and feel the cool crisp summer air here. Yesterday we visited with Darren Still and Alisha (his girlfriend) - its been so long - it was fun to catch up. Then we played Bocci ball and Shuffle Board... it was so fun to be together and see the kids together with their cousins & Aunt & Uncle. So fun...

I used a hair remover cream to get rid of Todd's hairy back & chest - then his hairy arms looked ridiculous so we did them too. But I got chemical burns on my right hand... hope it gets better quick.

I'd better go enjoy some of this sunshine while it is here.
