BE GRATEFUL - November

It's that time once again to look at the wonderful blessings in my life. Trying to focus my thoughts on the little bits of thanks each day. Gratitude expands the reality into more.

Today I thought about how grateful I am to be able to walk -

... and it made me think of all the beauties and fabulous experiences mobility has blessed me with - unforgettable hikes, waterskiing, road races, walks & runs with friends and family, walks each day with Bella, footsteps and sightseeing in Williamsburg, Charlottesville, VA Beach, Norfolk, DC, NYC, Cancun, Cozumel, Florida, South Africa, Paris, London, Swaziland, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Banff, Lake Louisa, YoHo, Jasper, Waterton, Writing on Stone, Clarks Creek. I thought of footprints in the snow and of snowshoeing in Kananaskis and Fairmont BC... and I thought of cross country skiing in Kanaskis and Edmonton... the tracks are necessary to make it easier and smoother.

Then I thought about each of our children with their ten toes as newborn babies and their first steps and cute little shoes... and the footsteps they make each day in their lives. Then I thought about walks on the beach and how much I love the sand near the water and how the sand feels on my feet...

Then I thought of some footprints of Jocelyn that I used one year in a young women's lesson - Come Follow Me the Savior Said ... He marked the path and led the way and continues to lead the way back to Heavenly Father...

I'm so grateful for the steps that I've made in my life and the experiences that I've been blessed to experience... Then I thought of the poem
