Walk in Audubon Park
This morning I participated in the walk for JDF.. (Juvenile Diabetes Foundation) with the hearts and hands team from First Bank & Trust. The park is beautiful in Uptown New Orleans Garden District... It was a short 1 1/2 mile walk ... I'll have to go back to the park and take my family so they can enjoy the beauty - when it gets a little cooler we'll go to the zoo and then enjoy a picnic in the park.
I love that park! We have decided that Thanksgiving break is a wonderful time for the zoo.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have known and I would have come and walked with you. My brother is type 1 diabetic, so it's a cause close to my heart.
