I vote it the best month for weather in Louisiana

While many are preparing for the cold winter... I've been enjoying 'summer' weather days preferred above the weather of the summer days in Louisiana.  I've enjoyed beautiful walks to/from the riverwalk on my lunch break - which gives me a dose of happy.

My Car

Well, she's given more than 250,000 miles to our family.  Julie, Jocelyn, Tyson & now Macy have learned to drive thanks to the VW Jetta.  Now the transmission is showing age...

Wishy Washy

Yes I'm still wishing for a working washer... laundromat's are definitely more efficient time wise because all wash can be done in approx 1 1/2 hours (wash & dry).  Its such a chore to haul it all there and haul it all home.  Its kind of scary to deal with homeless people who 'reside' in the laundromat to watch tv, use the bathroom and enjoy the A/C & lights.  I want a working washing machine -  it is luxurious to be able to do laundry in your home while other household chores or sleeping is done.  I better keep looking on Craig's list.

The $ to the laundromat could have paid for 1/2 a washer by now.

Puppies R Soooo Cute!

I stopped in at Double M Feed to purchase a new collar and leash for Bella and there she was the cutest puppy that wanted me to take her home..  so sad I had to pass her up.. I would have loved to bring her home and have my own 'powder puff'. 

 This family is not ready for a puppy year ... its a wedding year  

 Maybe it'll be a puppy year next year?

Macy & Homecoming

Macy found the dress while shopping with Me, Julie & Jocelyn. It was light pink and black with sequins and tulle.  She's great doing makeup & Jocelyn's great doing hair.  She looked gorgeous and enjoyed the fun with her friends.
