Ever wanted a few days of rest and relaxation? Yes.. Always... Well I got it and more. Interesting how surgery can bring on some rest and relaxation... I just got a couple of things fixed in outpatient surgery last thursday (7/23/09) so I got to rest and relax - by force... Amazing how that anesthesia really gives you days of fatigue. Todd, Tyson & Macy have been great to help out more at home.
The anesthesiologist was funny - he said they would give me the same drugs that Michael Jackson had ... but unlike michael jackson's doctor - he assured me he would monitor my oxygen levels. My surgery was at 7 am and I was home by 12:30 pm, then I slept almost 24/7 for the rest of thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. Monday I tried to stay up for most of the day so I could return to work on tuesday. Work was tough - I probably should have stayed home for a couple more days. The days are too long and I never realized its work to sit in an office chair and the toughest climbing the stairs to my car in the parking garage. I need more rest... I'm excited with the results of the surgery so far... time will tell.

Just have to say that I had this "procedure" (thermachoice) except not under general. It was HORRIBLE! I watched the whole thing on a TV screen while the doctor talked to me about running! I just wanted him to stop talking and put me out of my misery. Then I got nothing for pain afterward. ARGH!! Good news though, excellent results!!
