Christmas 2007

Shelly got recognized for finishing the kids christmas stockings ... . They have been partially finished all these years - without the bear heads. But with Nadeya needing a christmas stocking Shelly finally got out the christmas stockings and the sewing machine and finished them. (Hers & Todd's are still in progress but hopefully will not take 21 years to finish)

Todd picked the tree this year and it was beautiful... prickly, and beautiful. At first we thought it would keep curious Bella away from the tree because the needles were so sharp... but she attacked three snowman (2 are missing noses now)... and a string of lights was chewed while Todd was on the phone. Shelly only had to redecorate the tree once...

We enjoyed Christmas Eve and Christmas morning together. Julie was home from school in Texas and is home until January 13th. Jocelyn was home from school in Baton Rouge. Matt and Nadeya were here from New Orleans. Tyson and Macy are enjoying having everyone home and a break from school. It rained through the week and Todd was home with the kids. Shelly got Christmas day off work. It was a very simple Christmas, we exchanged gifts -- the best part was spending time together. We enjoyed watching some of our favorite christmas movies (1) Elf (2) Home Alone (3) Ice Age. The 26th was spent shopping in Baton Rouge and everyone did the escalator move from Elf just for laughs.

Bella's 1st Christmas

Bella got a new collar for Christmas. Macy picked it out at Target. They had the best selection.
