All the Kids & Bella
This past week Jocelyn picked up our yellow lab puppy. She was at the gas station and saw a guy with a really cute puppy and went over to see his dog. She told him his puppy was cute and asked how old she was. He said she was 6 weeks old and that he was looking for a good home to give her away. Well, right away Jocelyn told him she wanted her and would have to check with her family. So... the consensus was to get the puppy. She drove and picked her up Sunday night and named her Bella. She is sweet... but has brought more responsibilities to take care of like all puppies do... She has lots of attention... Now she needs to sleep more at night. Julie arrived from Virginia on Tuesday night. Her car was 'packed' with all of her belongings. It's great to have her here for a few days. She will be moving to Beesville TX in a few days.
I will post more pics later today. We are watching Hurrican Dean closely... We will know more in the next few days. It's time to book a hotel room out of this area just in case. Wish we knew where it was hitting. Julie has student orientation on Wednesday and that is the day the hurricane may hit Texas.
That puppy is so CUTE!!! Makes me want one and then I think.....cleaning up, stepping in puppy poop just isn't for us quite yet. We're definately thinking of you and your family and praying that everything steers clear of your direction.
Love the crunch that snow makes under my feet, a clean house, bare feet on a sandy beach, blue ocean, soaking in the sun at the beach, sunny skies, beautiful landscapes, wheat fields in the fall, glistening glacier lakes, majestic water falls, black soil, long canadian summer days, the mountains, fun on the water, bubble baths, a relaxing massage, time with my sisters... friends... family... Great laughs and funny movies.
