Memorial Day Weekend

Well I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all who have served the USA to preserve freedom. Their families have payed a great price - time with there loved ones is a huge sacrifice to give for freedom. For all those who have suffered injuries and many of there hopes and dreams have had to adjust to the new found struggles. Especially to all those who have payed the ultimate price for freedom. We honor you today. Freedom is not free it is preseved with sacrifice. I am grateful for the sacrifices that are made daily. My prayer is that more and more countries will have real freedom. Freedom to worship, freedom to vote, freedom to work at the jobs that bring much satisfaction, freedom to have families, freedom of speech, freedom to receive an education. I am grateful for agency. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.

Most of all - I've been thinking about all of the memories made with family and friends. The great times together buoy me up during the tough times. And it feels like I'm in the thick of tough times, gray skies ... but the sun will come out again and I will embrace joy.
