F R I E N D S, ETC.
That's what bring joy to my life!

May 2nd I left for the airport from work and went to Utah. It was so fun to meet with Fran in the Houston Airport. Oh it was so great to catch up and spend some time together. Rachel arrived on Wednesday. What a great idea to get away from responsibilities of work and family. It was all about relaxing, enjoying BYU Women's conference, and some shopping. I felt like I was almost home with so many good friends around. Rachel & Fran, thanks for everything. It was fabulous.

It was fun to see & visit with Cindy Johnson from Williamsburg. I also enjoyed visiting with cousins - Cindy Andreasen & Lori James. So good to see you. Friday I was delighted to spend the morning at the Marriott Center with my sister Betty Lou. We also visited with Dianne Bridge (don't know her married name) - it was so nice of Dianne to come down and introduce herself and we visited for a few minutes. I wish it could have been more time with you Betty Lou. Friday I was delighted to have lunch with Lori Gygi & Rosemary Bell, it was good to see Jeff Bell too. Then we enjoyed sitting together for a class and the closing session. Rosemary thanks for showing me the most comfortable place to sit in the Marriott Center. I felt right at home with Lori & Rosemary it was like the days in Williamsburg when we walked, visited, kayaked, etc. Friday afternoon it was fun to see Shauna Ockey & Carissa Ockey from Calgary in the University Mall and visit for a minute.

Friday night I had such an enjoyable visit with Uncle John & Aunt Lois. Thanks for meeting me in Bountiful and the wonderful stay in your home. I felt so at peace with you. Aunt Lois - thanks for the books. It was great to hear about Cranials... and the good news is that my friend Lori Snyder here in Slidell is a massage therapist and also does Cranials.

Saturday evening Uncle John & Aunt Lois drove me to meet up with Lori James in American Fork. Thank you. I so enjoyed my Saturday night & Sunday morning visits with Lori, David, Logan, Hailey, Trevor & Kara. Thanks for sharing your home & family with me. Lori your children are so polite and so sweet. It was fun to meet the hermit crabs - interesting pets. Trevor, it was fun to make the Abraham Lincoln Tall Hat with you. I hope your presentation was fabulous. Lori, thanks for driving me to the airport. I'll have to come out again when I can spend more time with you. One night is not enough.

I arrived home Sunday night just in time to get up in a few hours for work on Monday morning. It was refreshing to have the time away. Thanks Todd for letting me use your travel miles for my flight. I'm so happy that all was well at home while I was away.
